Agreement to Terms

Welcome to BATBALL Space. By accessing or using our cricket statistics and performance intelligence platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this platform.

Acceptance of Terms

By using BATBALL Space, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by:

  • Any additional terms and conditions that may apply to specific features or services
  • All applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations

User Accounts and Registration

Account Creation

To access certain features of our platform, you must register for an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach

Account Types

BATBALL Space offers different account types:

  • Player Accounts: For cricket players to manage their statistics and profiles
  • Scorer Accounts: For authorized scorers to input and verify match data
  • Administrator Accounts: For team and league administrators
  • Viewer Accounts: For fans and enthusiasts to access statistics

Account Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.

User Responsibilities

As a user of BATBALL Space, you agree to:

  • Use the platform in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Provide accurate and truthful information, especially regarding cricket statistics
  • Respect the intellectual property rights of others
  • Not engage in any fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activities
  • Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform
  • Not interfere with or disrupt the platform or servers
  • Not upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials

Prohibited Activities

You are expressly prohibited from:

  • Submitting false or misleading statistics or information
  • Impersonating another person or entity
  • Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users
  • Using automated systems (bots, scrapers) without permission
  • Attempting to reverse engineer or decompile the platform
  • Using the platform for any commercial purpose without authorization
  • Violating any applicable laws or regulations
  • Circumventing security features or access controls
  • Collecting personal information of other users without consent

Data Accuracy and Verification

BATBALL Space is committed to maintaining accurate cricket statistics. All statistics submitted to the platform must be truthful and verifiable. We employ a multi-tiered verification system to ensure data integrity.

Players and scorers are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of submitted data. Intentional submission of false statistics may result in account suspension or termination.

We reserve the right to verify, correct, or remove any statistics that appear inaccurate or unverifiable.

Intellectual Property Rights

The BATBALL Space platform, including all content, features, functionality, software, code, design, graphics, and logos, is owned by BATBALL Space and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the platform for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works, publicly display, or exploit any content from the platform without our prior written consent.

User-submitted content (such as profile information and statistics) remains the property of the user, but by submitting content, you grant BATBALL Space a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content in connection with the platform.

Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using BATBALL Space, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.

Please note that cricket statistics, player profiles, and leaderboard information are publicly displayed as part of our core service offering. By creating a player profile, you consent to your cricket statistics being publicly visible.

Disclaimer of Warranties

BATBALL Space is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

  • The platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • All statistics and information will be accurate or complete
  • Defects will be corrected
  • The platform is free from viruses or harmful components

Your use of the platform is at your sole risk. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the platform or its content.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BATBALL Space and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses
  • Unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
  • Interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the platform
  • Bugs, viruses, or harmful code transmitted through the platform
  • Errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BATBALL Space and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your use or misuse of the platform
  • Your violation of these Terms of Use
  • Your violation of any rights of another party
  • Your submission of false or misleading information

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the platform at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Violation of these Terms of Use
  • Submission of false or fraudulent information
  • Illegal or inappropriate behavior
  • Extended periods of inactivity
  • At our discretion for any reason

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the platform will immediately cease, though certain provisions of these terms will survive termination.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the appropriate courts.

Changes to Terms of Use

Severability

Entire Agreement

These Terms of Use, together with our Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published on the platform, constitute the entire agreement between you and BATBALL Space concerning your use of the platform and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
